After a short first week, most of the kitchen was out, and part of the wall was demolished. Thanks to Sasen Renovations for the pictures.
Our Kitchen renovation has begun and we expect it to last until November. The main contractor is Sasen Renovations. During this period, access to the hall will be severely limited. We ask for your patience as we do this essential work.
We have just received written confirmation that our rezoning and consolidation is complete. Now all we need is confirmation that the city has rezoned its adjacent lot as road bed (assuming it has), and we can proceed with signage.
We will be raffling this quilt on December 12 as part of our presentation of “A Christmas Carol”. See larger pictures on our Facebook page here.
The refurbished signage on Kitchener is now complete, with the weatherproofing now put back on.
The parking lot has a new surface. Ten cubic yards of gravel have been spread across the face of the area. Drainage will be greatly improved. However the gravel is a looser mix than the original surface, so please exercise caution when entering for the first time. Six-inch heels are not recommended footwear. We may have to direct some of our less mobile members to park on the street until we all get a sense of their ability to walk safely on the new surface. Anyone caught doing wheelies in the parking lot will be doing major penance under the wardens’ supervision. You have been warned.
Our rector, Rev. Stephanie Shepard, took the ALS Challenge after the morning service on August 24, 2014. Watch the video here.
Orders of Service for Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer are now available. All you need to bring is a Bible.
St. Timothy’s congratulates Rev. Canon Melissa Skelton on her election as Bishop of New Westminster. She will be consecrated on March 1, 2014.
