KIDSCHURCH

Welcome to our KidsChurch Page!

KidsChurch meets in the lower hall during the service on Sunday mornings. We move downstairs after the Children’s talk, and rejoin the congregation for Communion. All children are welcome, whatever their age. All volunteers and any others who may work with children have obtained police clearances with vulnerable sector checks, and they must renew them every five years.

We start off in worship, gathered around a candle, move into prayer, and then a bible story. This is then followed by different activities, for example puzzles, games and crafts, depending on the age of the children.

We hope to develop children’s faith and Biblical knowledge as they grow, and we encourage a questioning mind. We also want the children to find ways to apply the word of God in their lives.

For young people considering confirmation, there is the “Cat Class” – Catechumenate Class, which meets on alternate Sundays at Church during the morning service, and also on some Sunday afternoons.
